A Mexican week…

We just come back from a 5 days trip in Mexico. We visited the city and we also sharing the house’s vision during this wonderful adventure. Enter in our world and discover our trip with the bellow pictures. Enjoy !

L'Hôtel Geneve à Mexico

We spent our nights in an exceptionnal Hotel located in a hot district of Mexico. The Hotel Geneve is an atypical place and the interior decoration often change with the owner ‘s collection. We let our luggage at the hotel and we go to the IES Moda Casa Francia school.

The following day, we start with a visit at Popular Arts Museum and then at the cathedral in the center place, the weather was so hot ! We discovered extraordinary craftmanship and mexican tradition.

We come back at festival, working on the following fashion show

We presented our collection during this festival and more because two students will have the chance to make their interships at Paris in our house.

We finished this night with a dinner in a mexican restaurant, we ate some good tacos, yummy !

The next day we were overbooked. It started with a conference, designers and fashion professionals should presented their work, they have to showed how their field is so exceptionnal.

Let's have a lunch !

We visited Frida Khalo’s house, she’s a world famous painter and then we went to the Theotihuacan Pyramides and miner village. We discover a special architecture which keep mexican traditions.

A lot of guests in the pyramide's steps : Didier Ludot, Antigone Schilling, Frédéric Blanc, Gustavo Lins, Naco Paris, Pierre Henri et Yassen.

The next day, there was a second conference concerning the futur of mexican textile industry. Indeed, the mexican market is more looking for american products. Some industrials have taken the decision to produce the students’ collections who will present at Who’s Next in Paris.

We saw the Luccha Libre during our trip, this event mixes humor, danse and masks.

Lady Gaga did her last performance for the Monster Ball Tour the 6 may at Mexico with an enthousiasm public. The Monster Ball Tour is the most important tour never realised by an artist in a first tour. We was guest of honor for this concert at Mexico. The star has played on stage her new song “Americano” from her next album”Born This Way”, an strong moment with her fans, she loves them. We enjoyed her show and her musical performance !
